Job Purpose:
Professional management & maintenance of FI relations, in coordination with Senior Relationship Managers
Principal Accountabilities:
Support the Senior Relationship Managers (SRMs) in maintaining & managing an assigned portfolio with existing/new FI clients to retain and grow their banking relationships in a profitable manner and in line with assigned business growth targets.
Ensure that customer compliance and legal documentation is updated and in good order. Follow strict guidelines related to customer onboarding and monitoring.
Prepare appropriate Credit Applications in conformity with the Bank’s underwriting standards and risk targets to be reviewed by SRMs.
Ensure timely and accurate credit administration through timely completion of annual reviews and regular monitoring of financials, covenants, and other parameters within the review cycle.
Establish good liaison with customers for their day-to-day banking requirements for monitoring and business generation purposes.
Follow up customer transactions. Liaise with concerned back offices when and if needed.
Establish effective & professional communication (both internal and external) to ensure turnaround time within designated parameters and higher client satisfaction levels.
Comply with internal audit requirements in line with the policy guidelines, to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the Bank
Requirements
Education and Experience
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Economics or Finance or Business Management
4 –5 years of experience in Corporate banking with 2 years of exposure to FI in the UAE covering Africa.
Good knowledge of banking operations and credit management.
Good knowledge of various banking products (treasury and capital markets, cash management, trade finance…)
