Recruiting in COVID-19 volumes – a higher proportion of hires are from agencies compared to last year
What is the quality of the candidates coming from these sources? When comparing the distribution of hired candidates across the different source types in May 2019 vs. May 2020, we can see an increase in the number of hires from agencies, while there is a decrease from referrers and job boards (image 3). While we must always remember that the perfect candidate might come from anywhere, this knowledge may help you focus your limited resources.
