Engineering Job Descriptions
Engineering roles can be some of the most technically demanding roles for which you’re hiring. Regardless of the domain, be it civil, electrical, mechanical, process, biomedical or QA, these positions require specific industry and functional expertise and educational requirements. In some cases, there are likely specific certification, license or other requirements to demonstrate the degree of competence needed to excel in a role.
For these types of positions, demand is often quite high so you need to focus on the unique characteristics of your company and more so, the particular types of projects that an engineer is likely to be working on. Most engineers are particularly engaged in the underlying work and may very likely choose to select a certain job as much as the team and future colleagues, the type of technologies, and the specific projects or clients. Highlight all of this in your job description in addition to the particular job requirements needed to succeed at your organization.
