Education and Training Job Descriptions

There are a wide range of types of job positions involved in educating and training.  Some are focused on teaching within an educational institution sub as specialty or subject-specific teachers, counselors, substitutes; some provide more corporate-like services like technical writers and others perform specialized personal services like child care providers.  

In most cases, job descriptions for these types of positions require specific educational training and degree requirements, as well as a certain level of prior professional teaching, training or childcare experience.  It’s important to seek individuals with strong interpersonal skills and experience with the age level for teaching or child care roles.  If your organization requires background checks, don’t forget to mention that.  With corporate writing and training roles, be sure to address whether any specific industry or market knowledge is required or simply a ‘nice to have.’
